All Nippon eDNA Monitoring Network (ANEMONE) begins operating an eDNA database of fish fauna throughout Japan

The All Nippon eDNA Monitoring Network (ANEMONE), in which JAMBIO participates, has launched an open eDNA database of the ANEMONE Database (ANEMONE DB).
A map of the fish fauna of all of Japan, covering 861 locations and 885 detected fish species on 2020, is now available.

In addition, the ANEMONE Consortium was established on June 1, 2022 to raise public awareness of the nature-positive concept.
This consortium will take the lead in promoting seminars and other educational activities to promote the utilization of the ANEMONE DB.
